Do you find yourself having heated discussions with the radio and television? Does your spouse or children question who you are talking to? Is there a look of relief when they realise it is not them you are setting straight? followed closely by a look of questioning disbelief that you are arguing with yourself....both sides of the argument? using different voices to distinguish both sides of the discussion...?
Sounds familiar? then perhaps you too would like to get something of your chest, plese feel free to add them here at please'miss'me. Nothing is too petty or insignificant if it gets your goat.

When did I become 'Madam, can I help you' - it seems like yesterday
that it was 'Miss' ...did it happen when the kids started coming (and coming) or I hit 30? I think it was gradual, but now that window has shut and the curtains drawn tight and there is only the depressing sounding 'madam', which I ignore hoping they're talking to some 80 year old standing behind me....(or perhaps a sex worker) Would it kill
retail workers to say Miss? I think it's  good business practice - it makes me feel sooo old. Humor me...please...even  'hey lady - what's
up' has to be better. Let's start a retail awareness campaign, I'll print some t-shirts with the slogan ...'Miss' me! - I think it has potential. Stay tuned, I might even start a blog (yes, this irks  me) That's it....rant over.

    Rules to Blog

    - No targeting or personal attacks on individuals or groups, businesses etc.
The idea is to let of steam in a general way and it is more about things that irk and irritate rather than attacking and destroying.

    - Gloom free zone
:- the intention is to have a positive result not a negative one and perhaps turn a difficult situation into one of humor and seeing the lighter side of these issues, e.g. a problem shared
    is a problem halved.

    - No swearing or suggestive comments
(I am aware that this is becoming a fuzzy line, but this will ultimately be up
    to pleasemissme.com to decide).

    - Any other rules that
pleasemissme.com see fit to add as they are
    needed.

    - All submissions for the blog will be checked before release.
